Best Business Credit Cards 2021

If you want to get a credit card for your business, you might be enamored with things such as the prospect of getting bonus points for things like travel, higher status at hotels, better deals for car rentals, and so on. In addition, a credit card can help you get better at tracking your employees’ expenses.

However, those who secure a business credit card should also consider how they will track and break down each employee’s expenses. Credit cards for businesses are typically merged with the primary user, making them a potential hassle for a bookkeeper. Keeping this in mind, you are probably still interested in securing a business credit card.

These Are the Best Credit Cards for Remote Business Owners

Before we get started, it’s important to note that offers are subject to change. Accordingly, some of the suggestions described below may have changed since this page was published. If you are interested in one of the following cards, you are encouraged to navigate the official page to ensure that what we mention is still applicable today. Otherwise, you can easily make a mistake and apply for a card that no longer has the features we describe.

  1. Chase Ink Business Preferred

The Chase Ink Business Preferred is an excellent choice for those with a high credit score who also need to ensure that they don’t overspend on things when traveling abroad. Some of the perks include the ability to set individual spending limits per card, getting 3x points for placing paid traffic and ads, and 100,000 bonus points after you spend $15,000 in the first three months.

There is only a $95 annual fee to use this card. Considering how much it can cost to do things such as use ATMs and pay using your card while abroad, you should be able to quickly add up savings and make it offset the costs for the annual fee. Ideally, you will use this card for all of your abroad expenses to save

  1. Capital One Spark Business

The Capital One Spark Business card is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to get plenty of cashback for their purchases. You can either get 2% cashback or 2x miles on each of your purchases, depending on the card that you choose. Therefore, do your best to look through the options that exist. This way, you can sift through the options and find one that works the best for your business needs.

Certain Spark Business cards also come without the need to pay an annual fee, making them a popular option for businesses seeking to avoid paying too much for things they could otherwise avoid. However, others come with different perks in exchange for paying up to $95 in annual fees.

  1. American Express Gold Business

If you are okay with paying a $295 annual fee, the American Express Business Gold Card might be a great option to consider. One of the features of this card is getting 70,000 membership rewards points after spending your first $10,000 of eligible purchases.

If you are a business that runs paid ads or traffic, you can also get 4x points for each $1 on these sorts of purchases. This can quickly add up to be profitable and save you some money. In many cases, those who purchase many ads will do much more than pay the annual fee. Therefore, this is an excellent card to have and eventually use for all of your marketing purposes.

  1. American Express Platinum

If your business does a lot of traveling, you might be interested in securing Marriott Gold Status. This is precisely what you can get with this credit card, along with a free 100,000 membership points after spending $5,000 on your first set of eligible expenses.

However, benefits like these do not come without a proper price. You will need to pay an annual fee of $595 if you want to secure this card. In addition, you should consider the fact this is not great for those who need a lot of employee cards. The AMEX Business is a better option if this is what you are looking for.

  1. Brex Business Credit Card

The Brex Business Credit Card is another good option for those who have lots of capital sitting around. To apply for this card, you must first have $100,000 in your bank balance. In addition, you should keep in mind that this is not a credit card but rather a charge card. In other words, you will need to pay the balance in full each month

If you are willing to put up with these basic requirements, you can enjoy plenty of perks with the card. For example, you can get a quick 30,000 points after spending $3,500. Or, earn 50,000 points after your first $9,000 in purchases in the first 30 days. You can also send free ACH and wires worldwide. This card is also great if you want to track expenses and get quick notifications when a charge occurs.
